My Philosophy

Maybe a specific area of your life is not going as you’d hoped, or perhaps life in general feels just plain difficult? Family relationships, parenting, friends, grief, anxiety and stress are just some of the reasons people seek counseling. Utilizing strategically eclectic methods and tools, we can work together to discover the crux of the matter, identify realistic steps, and begin the journey towards a healthier life and relationships.

Sometimes an experience or loss leaves us unable to breathe, let alone consider moving forward, whether feelings are so huge and out of control you fear you might explode, or you feel empty, as though you might simply collapse or disappear. As a Trauma-Informed Therapist, I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, both highly effective trauma treatment modalities. I also have extensive training in the process of companioning those in grief and mourning.
